As the weekend comes to an end, you should treat yourself to a fabulous dessert that you and your friends and family will love! The star of this yummy chocolate pudding is raw cacao powder!
Do you know that raw cacao powder has many benefits? This ingredient, mostly known as a baking staple, is rich in antioxidants, magnesium and iron. Raw cacao powder isn’t as bitter as cocoa powder, and has a velvety texture!
This recipe is a great dessert after any meal, or it can be a pick-me-up snack in the middle of the day if you’re feeling a bit sluggish. Kids will love the taste and adults will appreciate the nutrients in this pudding!
- 19 ounces silken tofu
- 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder (I used the Navitas Naturals brand)
- 3-4 Tbsp agave or maple syrup
- 1-2 Tbsp coconut milk
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- Blend and serve right after if you would like! You can also make this ahead of time and chill in fridge until ready to serve.
- Top with extra fresh berries of your choice for garnish!
