We’ve receive a lot of questions in regards to the differences between Juicing and blending. With the Vitamix, we blend…actually, we blend a lot!
The main difference between the two, is mainly the user’s preference on consistency. For example – when juicing a carrot, you are essentially extracting the juice from the vegetable. Yes, you are reducing the fiber, but not necessarily all the nutrition the carrot provides. Juicers are generally for harder fruits/vegetables (carrots, celery, apples, etc.) However, the great thing about the Vitamix blender is that it has a powerful motor and accessories such as the tamper that help you adjust the consistency. Also, adding a little juice or water helps with the consistency of the final product.
