Blend of the Day: Berry-Almond Omega Charger!

Today we have a recipe that uses uses super-food mixes to create an energizing and fortifying smoothie! This smoothie is jam packed with a multitude awesome ingredients such as berries such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries (all high in antioxidants) Greek yogurt (improves digestion), honey (prevents cancer and heart disease), and almond milk (great for weight management and is blood sugar friendly). This smoothie will definitely help replenish your body with nutrients and antioxidants needed to live a healthy lifestyle. Try out this recipe with the ingredients and directions below! 


  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbs. omega 3 smoothie mixer


In a blender, combine the strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, yogurt, almond milk, honey, vanilla and smoothie mixer, and puree until smooth.

This Recipe Yields: 6 cups
